Fish species


The region offers richly varied fishing – 30 different species. And you’ve always got the chance to catch a really big fish. The bays and lakes are filled with pike, perch and pike-perch, while the more rapid waters offer fish like grayling and trout. Salmon and brown trout are available all the way up to the rich waters of Älvkarleby. Below you can read more about some of the different species.
