The munincipalities


The Nedre Dalälven region includes southern Dalarna, north-eastern Västmanland, northern Uppland and southern Gästrikland. The river flows through the middle of this region. Open, inviting countryside surrounded by miles and miles of woods for hiking, berry and mushroom-picking, skiing, hunting and more. Small-town idylls with red-painted farming villages dating back a thousand years.
