In the middle of the wilderness near the Färnebofjärden National Park you’ll find Östa Stugby – a fantastic place for wandering along pine forest paths or down lovely sandy beaches around the Östa peninsula. You can choose to settle down on your own private little beach or join other bathers on one of the large beaches along the 5 km long sandy coastline. There are lean-tos with furnished barbecues throughout the area. Canoes and boats are available for rent for adventures in the bay to explore the national park’s birds and wildlife. There are plenty of berries and mushrooms ready for picking here as well. During the winter, you can try your hand at ice fishing or skiing.
