Humlebackens Kulturhus is a culture house and meeting place for people, music, poetry and ideas. Fado and polska, Swedish nyckelharpa and Celtic harp, medieval ballads and progressive Swedish folk music, young jazz and choir song are just some of what you will find in this artistic, creative space. In addition to concerts, we also occasionally host art exhibitions, musical workshops, jazzy Lucia processions and interesting lectures. We are part of the Nedre Dalälven Biosphere Reserve, a fantastic area that we would love to tell you more about. Our café offers freshly brewed coffee and home-baked pastries, buns and cakes, and is open during events. The Humlebacken culture house offers the following activities: “Körkurbits” Dalarna’s choir center, “HUJB” Humlebacken’s Young Jazz Bäsinge and “Fridolin’s world musicians” with concerts and workshops in folk music, as well as “Flowers and plants in poetry and music,” a theme garden in the Nedre Dalälven River Landscape Biosphere Reserve.
